We are sure you are enjoying Jerry Vale Sandra, and no male vocalist sings Cape Cod quite like he does. :)
I love "Moomlight Becomes You " and "I'll Get By."

DON GIBSON, .."I'D BE A LEGEND IN MY TIME. :)

I dont know Lena and Harry, I think Patti Page's Old Cape Cod is one of the best. I will have to listen to both. Just reread your message, your right no male singer does it as well, unless of course Matt did it and then he will always be best

Maybe This Should be a New Post or Topic!!
SONGS - ONLY ONE VERSION THAT CAN NEVER BE COVERED BY ANY OTHER !

Example:
"WOMAN WOMAN" & "YOUNG GIRL" - GARY PUCKETT & THE UNION GAP

"WALK AWAY" & "FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE" - MATT MONRO

"HERE IN MY HEART" & "SPANISH EYES" - AL MARTINO

"HOLD MY HAND" & "IT ISN'T FAIR" - DON CORNELL

"DELILAH" & "I'LL NEVER FALL IN LOVE AGAIN" - TOM JONES

If you know any other version of the songs above that are as good or better than those above, I would like to know....Henry
Henry H Puccinelli

I think this is too good an idea to have it hidden away on this thread---it needs it's own thread/topic !!

Pam, yes, Patti Paiges version of Cape Cod was one of her very best, but she made so many great recordings and was still singing up to Two years ago at least. :)

Hi Pam--just thought I would let you know I received my first "Celtic Thunder" cd today-really looking foward to listening to it later-they sing 2 Sedaka songs-"Breaking up is hard to do" and "Happy Birthday sweet 16"--plus "You raise me up"--and lots more.

I got to hear all of the new cd last night---very Irish, as you would expect-some really nice songs---but bitterly disappointed with "You raise me up"--it must be the worst version I have heard.

Mariana,
I Agree! Number one I am getting sick of the song overall, number two the only group to do it that I like was Il Divo. But the rest of the cd was good and Damian has really changed. I will let you know if the song sounds any better in person but I am not hopeful
