Am I really being stupid--I cannot see the connection in the last 3 words-------insert--cover--grouse. !!!!

Hi Marian, I put "cover" because I was thinking about a cd case, after someone had put sleve and insert, it was the only thing I could think of. :lol: :lol:

I put grouse Marian, as they hide in the 'cover' and are flushed out by dogs for the hunters. :x :wink:

Thanks for the explanations-I can see Johns now---you meant
INsert--as opposed to inSERT. Not sure about the grouse though, I know very little of that sort of thing.

Good to see someone else joining in on this game Don--although "Happy" and "Gregory " are foxing me again.

MY new word is going to be PECK.

Well...Gregory's real Girlfriend was played by the Scottish actress Clare Grogan .Her most famous
hits being Happy Birthday and I Could Be Happy with her band Altered Images. :)

Clare was compared to Audrey Hepburn. Dee Hepburn was the name of the other actress
playing Gregory's supposed Girlfriend...
