Pam, this lady is a member of the friendship group that we belong to, and we have to say, a much more regular member than we are, but she came up and spoke to us, and then we were told that her father was the actor who played the part of Mr Grace in Are You Being served. We assume that her Father was Harold Bennett who portrayed an old Mr Grace, but was actually younger than the actor who took the part later,  but not absolutely certain, but we can find out All we know is her name is Nicolette, and probably in her Sixties, and a very nice lady. :) :)

I think it would be more likely to be Harold Bennett if the lady is in her sixties. Kenneth Waller took over as old Mr Grace in the early 80's, I think, but he was actually a lot younger than Harold, although he looked older, he later went on to play Grandad in "Bread".

It does seem more likely to be Harold Bennett John, although Kenneth Waller passed away in 2000 and so would have been about 81 now, and I'm just guessing Nicolettes age :? you never know I could be mistakingly adding on years to her age :) :)

Mariana,
I actually fall asleep every night to golden girls, but some how you just cant beat Mrs. Slokum and her pussy. I liked the early cheers but after Diane left, not as much. Another favorite show is Top Gear

Did you know Pam, the actress who played Mrs Slokum..........Mollie Sugden, passed away a few months ago :(

What do you think of motor mouth Jeremy Clarkson, Pam ?? or the shy and retiring James May ??

No it wasn't a passport photo Robert, and we definitely weren't having a senior moment, we actually spoke to her, but i'm not that good at judging peoples ages and Harry is worse than I am
and from moments to recall, this delicate subject particularly in company is a must to avoid. ... at a rough guess they are ...around 80 to 85 to Harry.

I did see that Mollie Sugden passed away, she will be very much missed.
My favorite on Top Gear is "the hamister" sometimes I love Jeremy and sometimes I would love to slug him, James May is just kind of vanilla I think

Yes, sometimes Jeremy Clarkson can be funny. He simply abhors this Nanny State, refuses to be told what to do, admits that he enjoys smoking and don't ever intend giving it up and enjoys a few beers.
Richard Hammond is also quite amusing with his comments on the TV programme "Wipeout "

Don't you think Richard Hammond "looked" different when presenting Wipeout, L&H
