Terry Wogan mentioned on his programme that 'it would have been the late great Matt Monro's birthday today.'
I did send a message to his programme saying it would have been Matts birthday and maybe we could have a song played.
Nothing played so probably a coincidence and he would have been mentioned anyway.
Thinking of the family today.

Birthdays seem to come round quickly, and it does not get any easier, no matter how many years have passed.

I love the idea of Michele and family putting up the Christmas tree on Matt's birthday every year.

Thankyou to Sarah Kennedy for remembering Matt on his birthday yesterday.
We had e.mailed her to remind her too along with Terry Wogan.
On listening to yesterdays programme this morning she actually thanked us for reminding her, said some nice things about him and played 'We're Gonna Change The World'.
It was on at 18 minutes to 7.Success!! :D :D

I remember Matt every day... simply because his beautiful voice rings through my head all day.. The words he sings so sincerely ... well I guess are constantly recording ... So wherever he is singing now Happy Birthday to Matt Monro , you are missed , but your voice lives on forever...
