Hi Hilary--once you get past the first 100--the others seem to come fast and furious---don't ask me how!

I am convinced that--in my case at least--that the counter is wrong and racking up double or treble counts

Hi Hilary - hope to be joining you in the 100s pretty soon myself! Have a whole day at home alone!

I know what you mean Marian - I think I have done about 50 posts in the last week, whereas before I had done about 20 in 6 weeks! It becomes a bit compulsive after a while! Having my partner overseas for the next 6 weeks means you'll be seeing even more of me!

Hi Mike--we can never have too much of you, and your enthusiasm---not to mention your tales of what you get up to in Holland, Germany etc.

Awww thanks Marian. The board is an even friendlier place when you are around!

And that was only in one weekend in Germany & Holland!! In a recent survey of my team at work, I scored 97% for my enthusiasm and 92% for my good cheer  I find people respond better to a cheerier person.

Its just funny how someone 'says' something on here that I really sparks something off! Like the Petula Carke comment earlier.

Well its all gone quiet now  even Lena & Harry aren't saying much today. And then on the verge of 1,000 posts too! I was hoping to get 20 posts out today - looks like I may even have to start a thread at this rate!!

Most members join in early, then again later on. I usually join in later on, then again later on still, if you know what I mean

Hi all--as Robert knows only too well-I did duplicate just ONE of my postings, and that was because I put it in the wrong category--I did not even realise that I was "Spamming". But Robert is gradually educating me, and I know now.

I think we all agree that you are very cheeky Robert, but as we know you now, we do not mind in the least. If you were not being cheeky, I would think it was someone else posting for you

Mike-why don't you try and think up another game for us. Some of the others are getting too difficult for us all--apart from Lena and Harry of course, because they know so much.

Hi Lena, Harry, Marian, Mike and everyone else (Yes that includes Robert too! )

Robert - you should be a stand up/sitting down comedian or maybe we could get you your very own radio show where you could invite guests onto your show and be......rude to them! (Only joking!)

As you are a Yorkshire boy/lad/man/person! I suppose it is the Northern charm/wit/funny moments that we love.......sometimes!

Without your banter Robert where would we all be?
I'm still trying to answer that question myself, and when I have the answer I shall let you know!

I'm sure that Lena and Harry and Marian too wouldn't cope well if you were.....nice to them all the time.
Come on Robert let's have some more banter from you to keep everyone on their toes or whatever else they want to be kept on!

It's alright Hilary, we'll get the banter and the cheek when our Robert get's his .... out of bed. He's up half the night watching those black and white movies, so he tells us now if you can get the hots for someone :like Ellie who'se been dead for decades  who can tell  ( this will get him going) . he won't need emoticons on his next posting. :)

Hilary, you'll make the 200 before the end of the year, as Marian said get past that first 100 and they seem to come rapidly.
Mike 50 posts in the last week is amazing, makes us feel that we're flagging. So you scored pretty highly for enthusiasm and cheerfulness, and that was after getting back from Amsterdam Hmm!! Holland and Germany  figures  Great to read all your posts though Mike.
By the way they were talking about the old food and drink commercials on Breakfast TV this morning while we were waiting for Jack to appear, such as Spam, Smash means Mash, Golden Syrip, Pan Yan Pickle, and Dermot mentioned Babycham :)

Hi everyone :-) Well here goes #101! :D

Thanks for the kind comments Lena & Harry - I think its been so amazing the past week to find out how much else we have in common apart from matt monro - although thats enough in itself!

I should say that I haven't just got back from a weekend in Holland & Germany lol - it was about 3 years ago!! But still fresh in the mind!!

I did see that bit on Breakfast Time this morning - Smash, Angel Delight and Dream Topping were the ones I saw mentioned. Then I saw the thing about Tate & Lyle Golden Syrup in the paper! Was trying to leave for the train but kept wanting to watch more - and Jack Jones was on a well I think. Chuckled when I heard Babycham - thought of tipsy people at your wedding actually!
