My VVIP staus is as Tony's guest-same treatment tomorrow at the recording of PARKINSON ITV SHOW-Tony,Michael Caine&Paul Simon listed.
My wife,my driver&I see the show and drinks reception afterwards.

Super show-Michael Caine was on top form-chatting about his long career in films with clips from his latest,Paul Simon sang a track from his new album 'SURPRISE'. Tony chatted on race relations,THE FRANK SINATRA SCHOOL he founded in NYNY.,his paintings,the new DUETS album,clips from his upcoming TV SPECIAL were shown(due on UK TV screens too),and sang I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO specially for Michael(Parkinson).
A real treat to see.
Tune in Saturday evening ITV 9pm-unmissable!
Tony will be in the UK for concerts in Spring 2007. :D

Sounds like you all had a great time with Tony and other celebrities Mark.
Michael Caine, always appears down to earth and never appears toforgets his roots and where he came from, but in his own words........ I've been poor and I've been rich and rich is better :) :)
We think the Tony Bennett's duet album is fantastic, "Smile", with Barbra Streisand "The Very Thought Of You," with Paul McCartney, "Because Of You " with kd Lang all great versions, difficult to pick a favourite on this CD at the moment but finishing with "How Do You Keep The Music Playing".
And more good news. A visit from Tony in the Spring. Wonderful. :)

Good to see Tony on Michael Parkinson's show. Tony completely relaxed and joined by Michael Caine. Tony sang "I Left My Heart In San Francisco." :) :)

Watched the Parkinson show today as we were out last night. Really enjoyed it. :lol: :lol: Thanks for telling us about your trip Mark.

Tonys "Duets" album went into the album charts at # 15 today 8)

Tony did one of his best interviews-he flew back to NYNY on the Saturday and will be on THE JAY LENO SHOW on the 8th(this Wednesday).
hopefully his TV SPECIAL to be screened Stateside on November 21st will also be seen here in The UK..
UK Tour next April/May.
