You might like to know that there are several wonderful clips on the popular website YouTube, most taken from a Spanish TV Show called " Galas Del Sabado which loosley translated means "The Finest of Saturdays".

For anyone not able to read Spanish the gentleman who posted the clips, Ricardo Monreal has dedicated them to me which I thought was really lovely.

He is a staunch Matt Monro fan and doesn't speak a word of Englsh so it has been a bit difficult communicating but through the wonders of the internet and sites that translate English to Spanish we have managed to say hello to each other.

I have just been watching those clips on YouTube. They are priceless! I'm guessing this is quite rare footage as I have never seen these before (on the DVD's or Documentary) so it was a real treat.

Wouldn't it be great if a DVD could be released of all his recorded performances? I know there are clips of him performing on the DVD "A portrait of Matt Monro" but wouldn't it be great if a DVD could be released with the whole songs on from start to finish?

Possibly something for the future...
