Dewi Griffiths, Radio Wales- String Of Pearls, Matt tribute

Post by Lena & Harry Smith » Sun Nov 26, 2006 1:22 pm

Dewi Griffiths played a Birthday tribute to Matt this morning on his programme "String Of Pearls" on Radio Wales and played the fantastic.
"I will wait For You." You can hear this programme now and for the next seven days on the "Listen again" feature. it's always a great programme to listen to, with Golden Oldies and popular vocalists.
Oh and there's an extra treat for Robert too.

Just listening to it now, but what a performance to find it, as I usually go through the radio 2 website, but Dewi's programme isn't there today!!!! I went on google to find BBC Radio Wales, but Radio Wales has apparently moved. I managed to find their new page, but even then "String of Pearls" wasn't very prominent to find!!!! Just heard Al Jolson, now Paul Whiteman. I wonder whats coming soon

EDIT - Hooray For Hollywood - Benny Goodman and his Orchestra plus the lovely Frances Langford 8) 8) 8) 8)
