Thanks for that thought Marian. The tornado happened just up the road to us. We were in the Supermarket and heard an almighty crash of thunder. Came out and roads all cordoned off Ambulances, Fire Brigade, and a helicopter hovering. Several injured and houses now minus a roof.
Sad and frightening for those affected.

Here's another... "I Won't Let the Sun go down on me. Nik Kershaw.

Really sorry to hear it was so close Lena and Harry, but so pleased you weren't involved it any way. It must have been very frightening..
Let's hope the poor folk involved can have their houses made secure before the next bout of bad weather, which is forecast for the next few days.
Take care both.
Marian.

Glad you are ok Harry and Lena--I heard about this on Telly, and I know Kensal Rise is not far from where you are.

The weather forecast in the paper today, made alarming reading---I hope they are wrong !!!

As we as Nik Kershaws song of a similar title, George Michael begged 'Don't let the sun go down on me', Katrina and the Waves went 'Walking on Sunshine. Cliff Richard had a 'Sunny Honey Girl, Gerry & The Pacemakers advised 'Don't let the sun catch you crying', Boney M sang of 'Sunny. Finally the Manic Street Preachers accused 'You stole the sun from my heart'

I was going to nominate

"SUN of a preacher-man"

But maybe I had better not.

So I won't.
