I'm afraid the continuous repetative 'music' has driven me away from Alan Titchmarsh's show. :? :?

:?: Why, Marian? There's not enough music on TV in the US. I know he's had a lot of popstars on recently, but I would love to see them perform on his show.

I wouldn't really class it as music Paul. It's just a few bars that are played repetitively every few minutes throughout the show. They just drive me mad!! I will probably watch again when the real music is on though.

I know what you mean Marian. The introductory piece of music that is repeated after the interlvals drives me mad too.
Why the hell does it have to be so loud.? It nearly blasts you out of your seat.
I haven't been watching this show every day since the time change from 3'o'clock, but they had a competition going on there one day to find the best crooner, but I haven't seen it since, unless the winner has been chosen and I missed it. ??

I agree Lena, a blast is a good way to describe it too!!
I've not heard anything about the result of the crooners competition, but as I said earlier I've kind of given up on the show now. It also seems so hurried with interviews etc...they can't seem to wait until the next 'blast' to knock you off your feet!
It's a shame, as there are too few shows like this today. :( :(
I'd make the show longer with a more relaxed content, and drop the 'blasts'!!!
Marian :)

I still think she has developed a quiver in her singing lately.
We also watch BBC 2 mainly right through to EGGHEADS. :)

I really enjoyed the show today with Katherine Jenkins and Neil Sedaka. I thought the new ALW song was lovely--although I thought i had heard it before-from a ALW dvd, with Kiri te Kanawa
singing a song from this new musical-quite a while back-but either it was a different song, or it has been changed a lot.
