'Star' by Kiki Dee. Also, Erasure had hits with a different song called Star, and Earth, Wind and Fire had a hit with ANOTHER song called Star apparently. Could also mention D:Ream and Bryan Adams :shock:

Ooh - 'Not forgetting 'Star on a TV Show', a 1975 hit for the Stylistics

And don't forget the 1987 novelty hit from The Firm, Star Trekkin (across the Universe)

'I lost my heart to a STARship Trooper' as sung by Sarah Brightman in approx 1977!

Finally for the time being, Starbright from Johnny Mathis, but I think he has been mentioned already!
