I find movie soundtracks that are released onto CDs loose something along the way..............I much prefer to hear the songs while watching the films :)

Robert-have you ever listened to any of the other "Carousel" cast recordings available---I know I have mentioned this before, but the National Theatre version is just stunning, with Joanna Riding and Michael Hayden---also the Broadway version-again with Michael Hayden and Sally Murphy. Plus the studio version with Barbara Cook and Sarah Brightman--with Barbara playing Julie, and Sarah playing Carrie--always seemed bizarre casting to me--but it worked well. I do love the film version, but it was not until I heard these other versions ,that I realised just how much was omitted from the film.

David just played Matt and mentioned that he had spoken to Michele and told the listeners that Mickie had passed away.
