Hello everyone - - gald to see Lena & Harry rose to the challenge on London songs - even if it meant involving Chas & Dave - but you missed out Give me a London Girl, but you kindly mentioned Yorkshire!

Robert - you did rehash a few used tracks, but given the size of this thread, and your response I'm not going to quibble about it!

Marian44 - I had mentioned 'Penny Lane' in my opening ramble, but another one of your tracks reminded me of a story involving my niece
At nursery school one day, a young teacher with her guitar offered to play each childs favourite song. In a circle of 4 year olds, with all her classmates asking for 'the wheels on the bus', or something by the Wiggles, Lucy piped up witha request Sweet home Alabama by Lynrd Skynrd. My brother, a heavy rock fan, had primed her, but she did in fact join in with the chorus!

I am going place safe with the often mentioned (by me anyway) Grace Fields Number 'Nagasaki' (Where the men all chew tobacci and the women wikki-wakki-woo!)
