I just downloaded Anthony Newley singing "Candy Man" after hearing it on "Chris Evans show "on Friday--after playing Sammy Davis on Friday, Chris queried who wrote it---well, I knew it was Anthony Newley-so did lots of others-all mailed in--so Chris played that one too--it is good---not quite as good as Sammy Davis though.

But what a genius was Anthony Newley--I did not know that, despite earing millions, he died penniless. A real tragedy. Similar to Lionel Bart.

I just downloaded Don McLean's new album Addicted To Black, its a good cd especially the title track, not ur normal Don McLean but worth a listen
