I thought it was sad too Robert,he seemed to be really struggling with his voice at the end

Very sad to say goodbye to David's programme last night, we shall miss it, but he did sound poorly and we could feel a lot of emotion there, particularly introducing Vic Damones song.

I don't listen to David's show but with all the recent talk I had a listen this morning and was shocked to hear how frail and slurred his speech was but he did seem to gain strength as the show went on.

I only got as far as Marni Nixon's songs but I will go back and listen to the rest.

Has David had a stroke? Brian Matthews sounds far stronger than him and they are of a similar age.

Nice to see you posting L&H where have you been? I miss your humour.
