On his show tonight Don played "matchless" Matt singing I Have Dreamed great song :) :) ....... but he has played it on numerous occasions
Indeed. The same applies with Johnny Mathis. Don always plays the usual old stuff . JM has recorded many songs that he never plays.

Jon that seems to be the norm with every artist, when you thnk of the huge record library they have they should dig into it for a change instead of playing the same old songs, they rarely play any Dusty beyond the 60's. One would think the only record Sammy Davis ever made is The Candy Man!

He probably only has 1 CD for each artist. It helps keep his desk tidy.

Like tonight he played "matchless" Matt singing One Morning in May from the said Hoagy Carmichael CD...............I don't now if tonight's programme was a repeat but all of Don's anecdotes .........recalling song lyrics and watching Marjorie Morningstar as a child have been mentioned at least once or twice before

I see Don also played Jack Jones singing Alfie and Dusty What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life, never heard that on radio before so I wonder if Don is the first to play it?
